Grober supports annual Truck Convoy for Special Olympics

On September 14, 2019 another convoy set out from Paris Ontario to raise funds for the Special Olympics. This annual tradition has gained much attention and helped many athletes over the since beginning in 2005.

The Truck Convoy is a celebration of the trucking industry and its support for Special Olympics.  What started as a local event in Florida in 2001, has evolved into an International movement with Convoy’s in over 40 States and 5 Provinces annually.

The Ontario Truck Convoy began in Paris in 2005 and has been going strong ever since!  In 2016, a 2nd Convoy was formed in the GTA.  This Ontario Truck Convoy has raised over $930,000 for the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics since 2005.

Long time Grober employee, Jim Prang has driven in support of this for many years. It’s a great cause and one he passionately advocates for.

We are happy to support this kind of philanthropy in our community and wish all the success to the 2020 Convoy campaign!
