Management and Feeding Suggestions
At birth, the camel calf must receive as much colostrum as possible for the first 24-36 hours of life. Start feeding milk replacer once the calf has received enough colostrum. Quantities offered should be adjusted to calf’s weight and should be around 8-10% of the calf’s body weight.
