Feeding Instructions

All-in-one delivery system: “fill-mix-feed-done” is as easy as it sounds.

  1. Remove cap from the GroStart bag
  2. Fill with warm water (43-49ºC or 110-120ºF) to the fill line
  3. Replace cap then shake and mix thoroughly
  4. Remove cap and attach either the nipple or esophageal feeding tube
  5. Feed entire contents of bag to the calf
    •    Empty GroStart bag can be disposed of
    •    Nipple and feeding tubes need to be washed and can be reused

This source of bovine dried colostrum contains antibodies against a wide variety of common infectious organisms, including:

Escherichia coli (E.coli), Bovine Rotavirus and Coronavirus, Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV), Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV), Bovine Parainfluenza Type 3 Virus (PI-3V), and Bovine Herpesvirus-1 (BHV-1).
